It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

Standard is built for the long haul: properly laminated, full-spec materials that hold up outdoors for years. Budget uses a lighter spec at a lower price, so it won't last as long, but it's a genuine option if that's what a job needs.

Here's what actually changes by material:

Aluminium composite (ACM): Standard is 3mm SignBond panel with 3M IJ35 vinyl and a protective laminate, guaranteed 3 years, often lasting 5+ with basic care or indoors. Budget uses a thinner panel and cheaper vinyl with no laminate, guaranteed 12 months.

Vinyl: Standard is 3M IJ35 vinyl with laminate. Budget is unlaminated vinyl.

Corflute: Standard is a 6-pass, 6-colour print with colour correction for a richer result. Budget is a lower print quality at a lower price.

1.6mm Aluminium: Standard only. At this level, there's no version worth cutting corners on.

It depends on how far away people will be when they need to read it.

As a rough guide:

• Walking past on foot, standard sizes (300x200mm to 600x400mm) are fine.
• Vehicles moving under 60km/h, go at least 900x600mm.
• Vehicles moving over 80km/h, you need 1800x1200mm. Don't undersize this one, a sign nobody can read in time isn't doing its job.

If you're stuck between two sizes, go a size up. Nobody's ever complained a sign was too easy to read.

• Going outside? Get aluminium composite (ACM) or 1.6mm aluminium. Corflute is for short-term jobs only, it's not built to last outdoors, and if you want it to still look right in a few years, don't fight this one.
• Going indoors, or somewhere temporary like a construction site? Corflute's a good honest choice, it's light, cheap, and does the job for the short time you need it to.
• Sticking to an uneven or curved surface (a pipe, a drum, equipment)? Vinyl's the one, but see our vinyl application guide first, it's not as simple to apply as it looks.

Vinyl looks simple. It isn't, and a bad application looks worse than no sign at all. A few things that matter:

• The surface needs to be clean, dry, and free of dust or grease before you start. Wipe it down and let it dry fully.
• Apply above 10°C and below 30°C if possible. Cold and hot surfaces make the adhesive behave badly.
• Start from one edge and work across with a squeegee, pushing air out as you go rather than trying to smooth bubbles out afterward.
• If you're covering a large or curved surface and haven't done this before, it's easy to get wrong. If in doubt, go rigid (corflute or ACM) instead, it's much harder to mess up.
